IT Project Manager

The American College of Radiology, the premier association for radiologists, has an opening for an IT Project Manager who serves as a PM and an analyst for key medical imaging and information exchange applications.



The IT Project Manager will develop and monitor project plans and schedules; work with users to gather information about medical imaging needs, objectives, functions, features, and input/output requirements for the most complex applications; analyze, define, and document technical requirements and designs for data, workflow, logical processes, interface with other systems, research and evaluate software and hardware to use as imaging platforms; and seeks to improve current applications and operations by analyzing process flows, researching issues, and suggesting system changes.



This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years related IT/project management experience and a medical imaging background; PMP certification preferred; experience in a product development preferred; must have experience working with radiology department personnel, knowledge of medical imaging informatics (i.e. DICOM, IHE, HL7) and experience with medical imaging systems (i.e. RIS, PACS).
