Brit Systems unveils PACS bundles, remote reading services
Brit Systems reached out to imaging centers, clinics, and offices at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine meeting with PACS bundles. The company also unveiled a package to support outsourced radiology reading services. The PACS bundles feature "right-sized" configurations designed for operations with restricted budgets and limited IT support that are designed to minimizing the effort needed to keep the PACS running through use of off-site storage. The company's new Roentgen Works provides a reading environment for primary diagnosis among multiple facilities through a set of tools that provide remote reading coverage. Upgrade options for the bundles include order entry with report storage, modality worklist support, RIS, and synchronization for the development of a redundant system. The outsourcing product, Roentgen Works, uses the company's Roentgen Router and browser-based tools for radiologists' reading lists and reporting. Key features include distribution of studies to groups of radiologists, generation of reports for billing, tracking of studies and urgent findings, and advanced worklist capabilities.
