Fused images provide high spatial and temporal resolution of the brain, ideal for surgical planning and split-second brain mapping. Coregistered MRI and magnetoencephalogram of the brain’s magnetic field (red exiting the head, blue entering the head, yellow ball showing the equivalent dipole) was taken 30 µsec after an electrical shock to the left median nerve of the wrist.
