REPORTERS
Deborah Dakins has been a healthcare reporter and editor for more than 15 years, including working as news editor for Diagnostic Imaging and editor-in-chief of Telemedicine magazine. She is currently a freelance healthcare writer, specializing in web-based reporting and editing. Ms. Dakins lives near Santa Cruz. CA.
Brenda Tilke has written about radiology for 11 years and has been a contributing writer for Diagnostic Imaging since 1991. She was editor of the Diagnostic Imaging 100, a special report profiling the top 100 manufacturers of diagnostic imaging equipment and accessories. Ms. Tilke lives in Brussels.
Charles Bankhead is a Houston-based freelance medical writer who has contributed to a variety of medical and healthcare publications over the past 21 years. He has written for Diagnostic Imaging since 1992. Prior to beginning a freelance career in 1992, he was a writer and editor for Medical World News, a leading trade magazine for primary care physicians.
Steve Wagner is a Los Angeles freelance writer in the healthcare field, and has been a frequent contributor to Diagnostic Imaging for 10 years. He is also a photojournalist. Mr. Wagner worked previously for wire services and the Oregonian newspaper in Vancouver, WA.

Dr. Bradley Tipler is a private practice radiologist in Staunton, VA. His monthly column, Backscatter, is featured in Diagnostic Imaging.
Michael Cannavo is president of Image Management Consultants, a consulting firm specializing in the evaluation, design, and implementation of PACS, teleradiology and telemedicine networks.

EDITORS
John Hayes is news editor of Diagnostic Imaging. He joined the staff in 1997, having previously worked as a writer and editor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is responsible for coordinating DI's print and online clinical and PACS-related news coverage.
Kathleen Lawrence is the executive editor of Diagnostic Imaging and supervises editorial copy management for Diagnostic Imaging and other healthcare group publications.
Carol Damioli is copy editor for Diagnostic Imaging and its related publications.
James Brice writes feature and investigative reports for Diagnostic Imaging magazine. Mr. Brice has worked as a DI editor for nine years. His areas of editorial specialization include MRI and socioeconomics.
Peter Ogle has been editor-in-chief of Diagnostic Imaging for 17 years. He is also editorial director of other publications in Miller Freeman's healthcare group, including Diagnostic Imaging Asia-Pacific and Diagnostic Imaging Europe.
