The Affordable Care Act has a “growing profound effect” on radiology, according to Cindy Moran, assistant executive director for the American College of Radiology.
In this video, Moran discusses how the health care reform law is accelerating the transition away from a fee-for-service reimbursement model. Payment systems will become more hospital-centric with bundled payments, she said.
The changes brought by health care reform are good news for radiology, Moran said, and individual providers should get involved and take leadership positions as the industry transforms.
