RadNet buys 10 imaging centers
An imaging center from New York has entered the RadNet fold and another nine from New Jersey are on deck to do so. The acquisitions will extend the company's imaging center net in the Mid-Rockland region and promise a $20 million boost in annual revenues. Inter-County Imaging of Yonkers, NY, is already onboard as the result of a deal made with Medical Resources, which has signed definitive purchase agreements with RadNet to sell nine additional centers in New Jersey. The pending deals are expected to close around May 31. RadNet is acquiring the assets, excluding working capital, but no debts or liabilities held by the centers, for a cash price of $2.65 million.
Hansen readies stock offering
Robotic surgery specialist Hansen Medical hopes to net more than $35 million through a common stock offering of 11.7 million shares at $3.055 per share. The offering is expected to settle by April 22.
