Diagnostic Imaging. PACSGEAR set to launch QC software at RSNA 2009
PACSGEAR will unveil at RSNA 2009 a quality control tool for PACS. The new product, dubbed GEARView QC, lets PACS administrators fix common demographic errors in any DICOM field, as well as visually edit studies to split, combine exams, or add and remove images. Studies can also be ‘anonymized’ by masking burned-in annotations. GEARView QC is based on the company’s GEARView medical image and report viewer, which was developed to give patients and healthcare personnel a simple way to view medical images and related results.
