Diagnostic Imaging. OEM supplier Shina readies end user product debut
Long-time OEM supplier Shina Systems will launch advanced visualization software for the end user at RSNA 2009. The software, called 3Di, leverages cloud-based computing to turn Internet-connected PCs into image processing workstations. Drawing its processing power from the “cloud,” an Internet metaphor inspired by the cloud symbol that often represents the Internet in flow charts and diagrams, 3Di provides advanced reformatting and viewing tools, yet requires no dedicated 3D workstations or enterprise servers. It will be priced on a pay-per-use basis.
