Business intelligence tools are helping radiology practices and departments better monitor their processes and increase efficiency. Paul Nagy, PhD, director of quality in the Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins University, discusses this trend and how it will continue to evolve.

Nagy, who is speaking at SIIM 2012 at Orlando this week, suggests radiologists partner with IT staff to help implement these tools and begin to really leverage the data to improve the practice or department.
