PACS and teleradiology industry veteran Don Alvarez has been named vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at 3-D software developer Voxar. Alvarez will be responsible for all OEM and end-user sales and marketing activities for the Edinburgh, Scotland-based company, and will set up the company's U.S. office in San Antonio. Alvarez most recently served as a consultant for Lumisys of Sunnyvale, CA, and has held executive positions at PACS company EMED and its predecessor, Image Data.
