Product offerings will showcase new glass-free detector and digital radiography solutions.
With the 2021 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) launching this week, Carestream Health announced seven product solutions it will highlight during the conference.
These products will showcase not only enhanced digital medical imaging capture and processing, but also augmented user and workflow experiences, company representatives said.
“Carestream is committed to innovation,” said Michele Ferrarese, Europe Cluster Sales General Manager. “Our R&D team is focused on incorporating the voice of customer as we leverage [artificial intelligence] technologies to provide enhanced, quantifiable benefits to patients and providers.”

During ECR, Carestream will highlight these products:
Lux 35 Detector: As the company’s lightest detector, this lightweight, glass-free detector weighs under 2.13 kg without the battery, allowing for easier transport, patient positioning, and bedside exams.
DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System: A bedside digital radiography system with higher security features, noiseless navigation, LED lighting, and in-bin detector charging.
DRX- Revolution Nano Mobile X-ray System: A system, using carbon nanotube technology, that can image patients in tight spaces. Its compact, lightweight, portable, non-motorized design make it conducive to chest, orthopedic, and pediatric imaging.
DRX- Transportable System/Life: A system, featuring a lightweight table that enabled image capture and view at the point-of-care, that allows for affordable upgrade or transition from mobile computed radiography to digital radiography.
Smart Noise Cancellation Software: This product uses artificial intelligence (AI) with deep learning algorithms to remove noise, improving anatomy clarity, allowing for clearer image production. The software is pending FDA 510(k) clearance.
Focus 35C and 43C Detectors: With Image Suite software, these detectors can retrofit existing analog X-ray rooms into digital ones. The cesium iodide detectors are designed to increase productivity.
ImageView Software: Powered by the Eclipse engine, this software – with AI and smart features – uses proprietary algorithms to increase value to the entire imaging chain.
Carestream’s imaging portfolio will be available at their Virtual Hospital during the conference.
