VMI’s EchoVACS and Acuson’s KinetDx Network are to be installed at the Children’s Heart Center at Strong University of Rochester Medical Center. The KinetDx system will integrate patient information throughout the hospital enterprise, and EchoVACS will support the clinical database for echocardiography patients. The networks will acquire images from four echocardiography systems and support 32 remote locations serviced by the Children’s Heart Center. More than 30,000 echocardiographic interpretations from Children’s multicenter clinical and research database and 10 years of clinical and research data will be migrated to the EchoVACS system.
