Ultrasound vendor Acuson of Mountain View, CA, announced that it has sold seven Sequoia 512 ultrasound scanners, as well as an Aegis digital image and data management network, to the University of Maryland Health System. The Aegis network will be installed at various sites at the University of Maryland and Mercy Medical Center.
