A printer optimized for high-resolution, full-field digital mammography has entered the Agfa product line. The high-resolution 508 ppi images produced by the new unit, Drystar 4500 M, enable the viewing of subtle gray-scale changes, which is vital in the interpretation of mammograms. The unit is capable of processing up to 80 sheets of 8 x 10-inch films and 60 sheets of 10 x 12-inch films per hour.
