Advanced NMR announced last month that it has fired John Lynch,the president of Medical Diagnostics, a mobile MRI firm that ANMRacquired in August (SCAN 9/13/95).

Advanced NMR, of Wilmington, MA, declined to state the reasonsfor Lynch's departure. As MDI president, Lynch had sought outAdvanced NMR as a white knight to rescue the company from a hostiletakeover launched by Raytel Medical late last year (SCAN 12/14/94).

ANMR said it has replaced Lynch with David Gaynor as actingpresident. Gaynor has overseen MDI's operations as COO since 1988,the company said.
