The Indianapolis arm of Italian ultrasound manufacturer Esaote plans to launch the Caris Plus ultrasound system at the annual meeting of the American Heart Association Nov. 11 to 14 in Anaheim, CA. The portable scanner, which weighs just 35 pounds and can be used with or without a cart, supports cardiovascular studies. It includes color and power Doppler, color flow mapping, and integrated stress echo. Transducers support frequencies up to 10 MHz.
