Multimedia communications provider InfoCast is partnering with Unidade Radiological Paulista, a leading diagnostic clinic in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to fund RedeMD, Brazil's first communication and collaboration service provider (CCSP) for the healthcare industry.

Using InfoCast's proprietary eTEAM technology, RedeMD provides a Web-based infrastructure for doctors, hospitals, clinics, medical schools, and government entities to deliver low-cost medical diagnostic services over the Internet. The goal is to enable doctors in remote regions and small cities to consult with colleagues and experts in leading medical centers without the need for broadband videoconferencing and telemedicine products.
