Cassling Diagnostic Imaging of Omaha has sold its consumables supplies business unit to Picker International of Cleveland, which is folding the unit into its Picker Health Care Products division. The sale includes the consumables business of Clayton Diagnostic Imaging, a Cassling subsidiary.
Cassling decided to sell the unit because the company's business model has shifted over the years, from consumables to other products and services, such as sales and service of new and refurbished equipment, network and electronic imaging sales, multivendor service, and asset management. It is expected that Picker will hire those Cassling employees associated with the consumables unit.
