Claron Technology Extends Modality Support for Universal Viewer

Claron Technology will announce at RSNA 2013 extended modality support for its universal viewer.

The Nil viewer family includes NilShare for referring physicians, NilRead, which recently received FDA clearance for diagnostic use. The company will announce for the viewers support for high-definition MPEG-4 videos as well as common image formats such as JPEG and TIFF. The viewers also support full Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) Integrating and Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) profile, including comprehensive Health Level 7 (HL7) Clinical document Architecture (CDA) documents.

The Nil viewer family is optimized for integration with remote archives, including PACS and VNA, streaming data without caching it, the company said.
