Civco Holding may soon own medical device design firm Colorado MEDtech. The two companies announced March 13 the signing of a definitive agreement for the sale of the Boulder, CO, company for $62.5 million. KRG Capital Partners and its affiliated funds control Civco Holding. Subject to shareholder approval and due diligence, the transaction is expected to close by June 30. The agreement calls for Colorado MEDtech to operate as a private corporation. It will continue developing and manufacturing equipment for the ultrasound and minimally invasive OEM and end-user markets.
