In order to help address mounting X-ray imaging workloads, GE HealthCare has unveiled the Definium Pace Select ET X-ray system.
Employing an Intelligent Workflow Suite to emphasize efficiency, the Definium Pace Select ET offers a variety of automated tools to facilitate patient positioning, appropriate protocols and collimation, according to GE HealthCare.

The company noted that other attributes of the flexible, floor-mounted X-ray system include an elevating table and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Helix™ Advanced Image Processing to reduce image variability.
