Dynamic to return to profitability in Q3

Healthcare information systems company Dynamic Healthcare Technologies announced that strong growth in its backlog and operating efficiencies from restructuring should bring the vendor back into the black in its third quarter. The Maitland, FL-based company expects a second-quarter operating loss of about 10 to 12 per share, however.

In more positive developments, Dynamic's backlog has grown to more than $11 million, the largest in the company's history. The firm credits the surge in the backlog to increased sales to new clients and to the growing number of current clients migrating to its new client/server products.
