Enmed deploys StorageNetworks backbone

Enmed, a provider of Internet-based clinical trial management products and services, will mount its data storage infrastructure on a services backbone supplied and managed by StorageNetworks. Enmed already subscribes to StorageNetworks’ DataPACS, BackPACS, and SafePACS services. The additional service will give Enmed customers access to scalable data storage capacity on demand and enhance their backup and restoration capabilities. Enmed’s Acceliant product is a suite of Internet-based tools that provide pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device firms the necessary means to develop and execute their clinical trials, including data, document, and image-management capabilities.
