GE Medical Systems has sold its first mobile positron emission tomography system to Mobile PET Systems, which plans to install it at the London PET Center this month. This sale follows the agreement signed between GE Medical and Mobile PET last year that made GE a supplier of both dedicated and mobile PET systems to San Diego-based Mobile PET (SCAN 9/1/99). Waukesha, WI-based GE introduced its mobile PET system at the RSNA meeting in November (SCAN 12/15/99).
