Ex-Diasonics Ultrasound executive Omar Ishrak has landed on hisfeet after leaving the Milpitas, CA, firm earlier this year (SCAN6/7/95). Ishrak has been appointed general manager of the globalultrasound business at GE Medical Systems, replacing John Kese,who is retiring later this year. Ishrak has a strong reputationin ultrasound R&D and led the Diasonics team that developedultrasound angiography.
