C-arm developer OEC Medical Systems of Salt Lake City is expanding its business model into providing third-party service for other medical imaging firms. The company last month announced agreements with three companies to provide installation and service: MRI hardware/software developer Image Enhancement Systems of Hayward, CA; lithotripter manufacturer Medispec of Gaithersburg, MD; and bone densitometry company Norland Medical Systems of White Plains, NY.
