Among the new technologies SMV will emphasize is coincidencedetection, to be shown as a work-in-progress on both the DST-XLand the FX-80 dual-head cameras, according to Lonnie Mixon, directorof marketing.
SMV will also highlight Restore, a resolution recovery algorithmthat corrects for geometric distortion caused by collimators inSPECT studies. The technique can be used with SMV's transmissionattenuation correction (TAC) protocol.
