SonoSite launches workflow suite
Hand-carried ultrasound pioneer SonoSite has unveiled a suite of tools designed to streamline the management of ultrasound exams at the departmental level. The tools, part of the SonoSite Workflow Solutions (SWS) package, give physicians the ability to browse, manage and store ultrasound studies and generate reports suitable for billing and credentialing. An early adopter of the software notes that the suite allows review and archive of studies, credentialing, and the generation of reports that would have otherwise required multiple software packages. Transferred to SWS using wireless or Ethernet connection, patient information and images automatically pre-populate patient information forms. Compatible with both PC and Macintosh operating systems, SWS supports multiple user accounts and can import ultrasound studies from several SonoSite systems. The software operates on both platforms and is server based-accessed within the department’s firewall via laptop or desktop using the local area network (LAN) available to specific departments. For more information on SWS visit our website.
