Market research firm Technology Marketing Group of Des Plaines,IL, has forged an alliance with Chi Systems, an Ann Arbor, MI,consulting company, for new services designed to help healthcareproviders manage and purchase imaging equipment.
The alliance's new Imaging Integration Program draws fromTMG's national database of installed base and utilization informationfor CT, nuclear medicine, MRI, and PACS. The data, which cover90% of all U.S. imaging sites, will help clients assess the marketpotential for planned imaging services, according to John VandenBrink, principal consultant at TMG.
Chi Systems contributes practice and asset management consultingservices to the venture, said Steven Gray, president. They includecompetition studies, staffing and equipment deployment evaluations,cost modeling, and return-on-investment forecasting, Gray said.
