Dedicated electrophysiology products are joining the product lineup of Toshiba America Medical Systems as part of a sales and marketing strategic alliance between Toshiba and Fischer Imaging. The alliance was struck to allow Fischer Imaging to focus efforts on refining its offerings regarding breast care, according to Fischer. Covered under the agreement are Fischer’s EP table, single-plane EPX, and biplane EPX2 electrophysiology systems. The single- and biplane systems are among the most complete and cost-efficient heart catheterization systems on the market, offering high-resolution imagery and reduced x-ray dosage via pulsed progressive fluoroscopy.
