Monitor manufacturer Data Ray's sale to Wells-Gardner has broken down. Wells-Gardner, which provides monitors to the entertainment and gaming industries, had entered into a letter of intent on February 17 to purchase Westminster, CO-based Data Ray. Data Ray's parent-Japanese company Nippon Chemi-Con-and Wells Gardner were unable to come to terms, however, and negotiations have ended. Nippon Chemi-Con is no longer looking to sell Data Ray, according to a company spokesperson.
