In less than two weeks, Siemens will unveil a commercial version of its 1T open MR system. The company is planning a 16-city road show of the product. The first stop, on July 29, will be in New York City. Siemens told DI SCAN in early May about a midsummer launch of the product but provided few details. Philips is expected to launch a similar product later this year (SCAN 6/2/04). Siemens' tour will include Chicago, Cleveland, Omaha, Phoenix, Dallas, and Las Vegas. It will conclude Oct. 15 in Orlando.
