Acuson launches group to handle PACS efforts

Ultrasound vendor Acuson has formed Acuson PACS division, a new operating division that will focus on development, sales, marketing, and support of its Aegis ultrasound miniPACS offering. Those functions previously resided within various other Acuson groups. More than 150 Aegis networks have been installed to date, according to the Mountain View, CA-based company.
