ADAC to join Serviscope ACT program

The multivendor service program of ADAC Laboratories got a boostthis month with the signing of a gamma camera servicing deal betweenMilpitas, CA-based ADAC and independent service organization Serviscopeof Wallingford, CT. Under the deal, ADAC will be the primary serviceand support provider to facilities in Serviscope's AssetCare Technology(ACT) program.

Serviscope started ACT last year to compete with OEMs in providingmultivendor service and asset management to hospitals (SCAN 6/21/95).ADAC Laboratories has been building a gamma camera multivendorservice operation since its acquisition of JD Technical Services(SCAN 2/14/96).
