Atlanta-based PACS vendor Algotec Systems has cut a deal to distribute Agfa’s full line of computed radiography (CR) products, digitizers, cassettes, and preview and autoprocessing software in the U.S. The products complement Algotec’s own PACS offerings, which will be enhanced by version 4 of its MediSurf Web-based PACS, scheduled to debut at November’s RSNA meeting. The latest version will include integrated workflow tools, including configurable worklists and worklist management capabilities. Also scheduled for RSNA show introduction is MediPrime version 2.0, which integrates 3-D image processing into the primary reading process.
