Developer of ultrasound accessories Civco Holdings is the beneficiary of a $15 million investment by American Capital Strategies. Civco was recently formed by KRG Capital Partners, which took private Colorado MEDTech and its subsidiary, Civco Medical Instruments. This subsidiary designs and manufactures disposable and consumable ultrasound accessories (SCAN 3/19/03). Customers include Siemens, Philips, GE, B-K Medical, and Boston Scientific.
