Advanced Magnetics of Cambridge, MA, has joined with its Japanese marketing partner Eiken Chemical to launch AMI's Feridex MRI liver contrast agent in Japan. Eiken will market Feridex through its distributor Tanabe Seiyaku. Japan represents one of the last major marketplaces to approve Feridex, according to Jerome Goldstein, chairman and CEO of Advanced Magnetics.
