Base Ten Systems last week completed the sale of a convertible
subordinated debenture that raised $10 million for the Trenton,
NJ, company. Base Ten plans to use proceeds of the issue to fund
development and marketing of its Pharmasyst pharmaceutical manufacturing
execution system, as well as its uPACS ultrasound miniPACS archiving
product. Base Ten received 510(k) clearance for several uPACS
components in June (SCAN 7/17/96).
