Walter Schneider has been promoted to president of the Bennett

division of Trex Medical, the company reported last week. Schneider

previously was vice president and general manager of Copiague,

NY-based Bennett, which Trex bought last year (SCAN 1/31/96).

Schneider reports to Trex president and CEO Hal Kirshner.
