CliniComp debuts repository for clinical data integration

Clinical information systems developer CliniComp is now marketing the Global Data Repository, a relational database designed to enable clinical information integration and provide the foundation for computer-based patient records. The GDR is an adjunct to the CliniComp CIS, which maintains two copies of data on separate CIS servers to enhance data redundancy and creation of CPRs. The Oracle-based GDR acts as an additional database to map data from disparate information systems. It is already being made available to Flagstaff Medical Center (AZ), Kapi'olani Medical Center (Honolulu), Walter Reed Army Medical Center (Washington, DC), and Dewitt Army Community Hospital (Washington, DC).
