PET pioneer CPS innovations, based in Knoxville, TN, has delivered its 600th PET or PET/CT imaging system. Through OEMs-primarily Siemens Medical Solutions but also Hitachi Medical Systems of America-and more recently through its own direct sales efforts, CPS has sold more PET and PET/CT imaging systems worldwide than any other manufacturer, according to the company, which claims a 50% share of the U.S. installed base.
