Dicomit adds Kodak to list of OEM resellers

Dicomit has announced that Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY, has signed an agreement to resell the Richmond Hill, Ontario-based firm's DICOM Image Manager offering as part of the Access ultrasound miniPACS line. Kodak displayed DICOM Image Manager at this year's American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine meeting in Boston.

In other Dicomit news, the firm has added the ability to retrieve prior studies to DICOM Image Manager. Side-by-side comparison of prior and current studies can now also be made on the ultrasound machine monitor, according to the company. The new features are available on any new Dicomit products and also as a software upgrade for Dicomit's installed base.
