InformaTech, a provider of medical and information technology services, recently secured an extension of an existing telemedicine project and a new telemedicine contract. The companys technical support contract with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for management of the DIN-PACS project has been extended for an indefinite period of time; in addition, InformaTech was awarded a new contract by the U.S. Navy to provide acceptance testing services for the IBM PACS recently installed at the Naval Medical Center in Norfolk, VA. The Medical Services division of InformaTech, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dallas-based Kaneb Services, provides systems integration and open-architecture telemedicine products and services.
