Israeli ultrasound vendor Elbit Ultrasound has received 510(k)
clearance for its Synergy mid-range scanner, which is based on
a personal computer. Elbit also announced that it has completed
the acquisition of Elscint's ultrasound business, which will now
be known as Diasonics Israel (SCAN 3/13/96).
