Tenet Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente have both made private equity investments in Emageon. As part of the agreements, Tenet and Kaiser will jointly select a senior healthcare executive to serve on Emageon's board of directors. Emageon is already working with a dozen Tenet Healthcare sites to evaluate the operational and economic impact of Emageon's digital image archiving software and ASP delivery model.
