Data storage giant EMC and IT provider Cerner have entered into a global reseller agreement under which Cerner will offer a full-range of EMC networked storage systems, software, and services to healthcare providers to use as part of its electronic patient record (EPR) solution. Included in the portfolio are EMC Symmetrix, Clariion, and Centera networked storage systems, as well as the EMC ControlCenter family of management software. Cerner offers its Millennium technology as the backbone for electronically accessing medical records.
