The move is being portrayed by eMed, which provides image management and Web products and services for radiologists, as a demonstration of its commitment to patient confidentiality and secure transmission of sensitive healthcare information. Once all HIPAA provisions are finalized, Guardent will perform a gap analysis of eMed's product line.
