Italian vendor Esaote has upgraded its Picus and Picus Pro ultrasound products. A new microconvex transducer that supports shared services expands the clinical reach of the Picus family, which had been focused heavily on ob/gyn. A cardiology calculation package has been added, as well as an interface to Women's Health Clinical Database Systems for documentation and reporting in gynecology and antenatal assessment.
