Planar Systems and U.S. Electronics, a distributor of Totoku medical-grade monitors, have been cleared by the FDA to market certain high-performance flat-panel displays for the diagnostic reading of mammography images. Planar is now able to market the Dome C5i system for this application. U.S. Electronics can market the Totoku ME511L LCD. Both products offer five-megapixel displays.
