GE Medical Systems has introduced a new version of its Catalyst cardiovascular information management system intended to improve the speed and efficiency of clinical workflow, administration, and report generation for cath labs. According to the company, the system’s new Web-enabled features help reduce the average turnaround time for final reports by more than 75%. Catalyst integrates hemodynamic, image, and laboratory data and was designed to facilitate multivendor connectivity, seamless consolidation of data, and comprehensive information storage and databasing.
